Bridal appointments are needed to insure a CBG consultant is available to assist you in finding a wedding gown that best suits your personal style. Our consultants can help select bridal accessories and discuss any custom options and colors you may want for your wedding apparel. We suggest you bring a bra and comfortable pair of shoes when trying on gowns.

We are more than happy to help you if you don’t have an appointment. However, please understand if you do walk in and all consultants are with appointments you will be unable to try on bridal gowns at that time.

Appointments for bridesmaid parties and mothers are strongly encouraged. Since we carry many designers, styles, sizes and colors options, one of our consultants should be available to help you with any questions and sizing. If you do not have an appointment and all consultants are busy, we may not have a dressing room available for you to try gowns on.

All appointments are 1.5 hours.
Since this is such an exciting time in your wedding planning, we understand you wanting to include all those special people when selecting your wedding gown. From experience, we suggest you bring a parent or close family member and your best friend. Once you have selected your gown you can bring in the group to see your selection. We cannot guarantee seating for large groups.
Typically bridal gowns take 4 to 6 months for delivery from the designer to our location. Shipping for bridesmaids, mothers and flower girl gowns take approximately 16 weeks. Sometimes a designer may have stock in a particular style. If that is the case your gown will ship within 4 weeks.

Help! Your wedding is less than 3 to 4 months! It is not too late to get the gowns of your dreams but every second counts. Your options include purchasing a gown from our stock or working with your consultant to determine which designer can meet your time frame. This could in some cases include a rush charge. In this instance, our buyer can provide you an estimated shipping date once she receives a confirmation.

Please note delivery times may vary and could arrive sooner than the standard time frame.

For your convenience, we have available professionally trained seamstresses to insure a perfect fit on your gown. Theses seamstresses are independent contractors who do not work for the country bride but are highly recommended by CBG based on their skill and expertise.

They are available by appointment Monday through Thursday 4:00pm till 8:30 pm. If you are out of town and require a different time, please call our manager and she will arrange a time based on your schedule. The cost for alterations is not included in the cost of your gown.

While alteration costs vary depending on the type and amount of changes required
Average bridal gown alterations range from $400.00 to $650.00.
Average bridesmaid gown alterations range from $75.00 to $165.00.
Average mob/mog gown alterations range from $85.00 to $225.00.

Please note these are average estimates. Some gowns and fabrics require more or less time and adjustments so fees set by your seamstress may be higher or lower.

No, you are more than welcome to take your gown out if you have a reputable seamstress. You can always bring your gown back to the store for steaming and pressing. There is no charge for this service. We ask that you drop off your gown one week prior to when you would like to pick it up from CBG.
You must have the exact shoes you will be wearing the day of your wedding as well as any undergarments. We recommend you bring several bras and body shapers such as spanx with you. The proper undergarment makes a major difference in the fitting of your gown.

Absolutely! Ask about our “all inclusive bridal package.” we know this is a busy and sometimes stressful time so we want to make it as easy as possible for you. Why stress by going from shop to shop to get all your wedding apparel.
Special order veils have a 3 to 4 week month lead time, so making a decision at the time you order your gown is helpful. If you are unable to make that decision when purchasing your gown, your consultant can always set up another appointment at a later time.
Absolutely! Not only do brides find their gown on their first visit to our salon, but they also find all of their accessories, bridesmaids and mother’s gowns as well.
Just ask your bridal consultant and she will request the color needed. Not all bridal gown designers offer swatches. We can request a swatch of your bridesmaid gown for you.
That is not acceptable. We want you experience in our store to be as memorable as your wedding day. If you find that you are not bonding with your consultant, please ask to speak to our manager or store owner, Trish Burkholder, right away. We will make arrangements for you to work with someone else to make sure you have a pleasant experience.
Because we are the prom dress experts and recognized by our customers as the most trusted prom dress store in the Philadelphia area. Actually, our prom consultants assist the buyer at market and hand-pick all the prom gowns carried at CBG.
Yes, we register your prom gown selection! What does that mean to have your gown registered?

Your prom consultant will ask you your school and which prom you will be attending. We will not sell the same dress in the same style and color to the same prom. We will sell the same style in a different color to the same prom. Registering a gown is a courtesy and can only be used for a gown that is purchased from our location.

We are a family-owned and operation business. This allows each customer to get one on one attention and service and not feel like they are at an off the rack discounter.
